The Short Version
Dundee Vegan Festival is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event for everyone, regardless of gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. We do not tolerate harassment or bigotry of any kind.
Anyone attending the event that engages in harassing or oppressive behaviour, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.

Dundee Vegan Festival has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and bigotry.
Harassment includes (but not exclusively):
- Offensive verbal comments related to:
- Gender identity and expression
- Sexual orientation
- Physical appearance
- Body size
- Sexual images in public spaces
- Deliberate intimidation
- Food shaming
- Harassing photography or recording
- Sustained disruption of talks or workshops
- Inappropriate physical contact
Forms of bigotry including (but not exclusively):
Participants asked to stop any harassing or oppressive behaviour are expected to comply immediately. We understand that you may feel uncomfortable when confronted about this but denial, gaslighting and sealioning will not be tolerated.
We also understand this may be the first time you have been confronted about this and we will do our best to explain the issue – we’re all learning and growing.
Sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and volunteers are also subject to the anti-harassment policy.
If you are being harassed, being made to feel unwelcome, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a volunteer or organiser from the festival team – we will all be wearing green t-shirts with the Dundee Vegan Festival logo on them.
